The challenge
On a site this size, a walk around tells you almost nothing and a single photograph tells you less. The project team needed a weekly record that was consistent enough to measure change against, not imagery that shifted position and angle every visit.

A 324 acre active construction site requiring multiple launch positions and a fixed capture specification to keep weekly outputs comparable.
Equipment and method
Mavic 3E automated grid coverage processed through DroneDeploy, with launch positions, altitude, overlap and flight lines held constant week to week so each capture aligns with the last.
Airspace and safety
Standard operating airspace with site coordination for active equipment and personnel during each capture window.
Deliverables
Weekly full site orthomosaic, terrain data for earthworks tracking, and a consistently structured dated delivery the team could attach to reporting.
Result
Two to three years of continuous weekly capture across a very large site, every visit directly comparable to the last. The result is a complete visual and measurable history of the build rather than a scatter of site photos, with earthworks progress and layout changes measurable at any point in the sequence.
