Multi site and national programs
Sites in several provinces, run as one program
Based in Edmonton and delivering across Canada. You hold one contract, deal with one point of contact and receive one invoice, and every capture arrives in the same form because every operator flew the same specification.
The problem with several sites in several provinces
Sourcing a drone operator in each region means a different contract, a different insurance certificate to chase, a different invoice, and a different idea of what the deliverable should look like. The data comes back in a different form from every one of them, and reconciling it becomes somebody's job.
The alternative is one company holding the program. You deal with one contract, one point of contact and one invoice, regardless of how many sites or provinces it covers, and every capture arrives in the same form because every operator flew the same specification.
How it works
- Planned here. Scoping, capture specification, airspace review and flight planning are done in house before anyone mobilises, whatever province the site is in.
- Flown to one specification. Every operator receives the same written capture specification: altitude, overlap, positioning method, launch pattern and what has to be recorded. That is what makes the data comparable between sites and between visits.
- Vetted before dispatch. Every operator is confirmed for Advanced RPAS certification and carries minimums of $2 million commercial general liability and $1 million RPAS liability under a signed services agreement. Nobody is sent to a client site without that on file.
- Processed here. Raw data comes back to us. Processing, quality control and deliverables are produced centrally, so the outputs match across the program rather than varying by whoever flew.
- One invoice. You hold one contract with Drone360 and receive one invoice, however many operators the program involved.
Where we fly
We are Alberta based, flying our own work out of Edmonton, and British Columbia and Saskatchewan are within our own reach. Everywhere else in the country, the capture is contracted to certified pilots we have worked with continuously rather than sourced fresh for the job. That distinction matters: these are operators with a record with us, not names off a directory.
Being straight about that distinction matters more than claiming offices in ten cities. What you are buying is a single point of accountability and a consistent specification, not a branch office down the road from your site.
What this looks like in practice
A plot management client engaged us for seven cemeteries across Alberta and British Columbia over two seasons, ranging from a heritage site to remote grounds with no mobile network at all. Every site arrived in the same form and dropped into the same system, whether the grounds sat in town or an hour down a forestry road. That is the whole argument for running a multi site program through one company rather than seven.
The same structure carries recurring work. An aggregate inventory program has run monthly at two sites for more than five years with every scheduled date flown, and a construction site has been captured weekly for two to three years. Consistency over time is the same problem as consistency across geography, and it is solved the same way.
What we will need from you
- The sites, with locations and approximate areas
- What the deliverable has to support, since that decides the accuracy method and the capture specification
- The cadence, if the program repeats
- Any site access, induction or documentation requirements per location
You get a scoped quote back as one project value with the specification stated up front, usually within one business day.
Program structure
- Base
- Edmonton, Alberta
- Flown directly
- Alberta, by our own pilots
- Direct reach
- BC and SK
- Rest of Canada
- Trusted pilots, same vetting
- Contract
- One, whatever the site count
- Invoice
- One, consolidated
- Operator minimums
- $2M CGL, $1M RPAS, enforced
- Processing
- Centralised, one output standard
Certificates of insurance, WCB clearance letters and vendor qualification packages are issued the same day they are requested, for the program as a whole rather than operator by operator.
Programs we have run this way
Multi siteSeven cemeteries, two provinces, one client
Sites from a British Columbia heritage ground to remote Coal Branch cemeteries with no network coverage, all arriving in the same form.
Four locations, three cities, one format
Media capture across Calgary, Edmonton and Red Deer to a single shot list, so the four sets cut together as one brand.
Two sites, every month, five years
Month end aggregate volumetrics to a fixed specification, every scheduled date flown, so inventory figures compare period to period.
Three sites for a surveying firm
Aerial capture subcontracted by a professional whose own responsibility depends on the data being right.
